Wagyu Steak and Tortellini Salad

Busy schedules can make it hard to cook a good meal at home but our good friend Carolyn Piguet from Piguet's Prime Time is going to show us how to make a quick and delicious meal Wagyu Steak and Tortellini Salad. See more delicious recipes like this at


2 bags of cheese tortellini

1 cup of halved cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup black olives (sliced)

1/2 cup finely diced English Cucumber

4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes

2 Tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

3 Tablespoons of olive oil

1 1/4 pounds skirt steak 


Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook as directed on the bag. Drain and set aside.  

Combine tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, and mozzarella cheese in a large bowl. Add the red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, and 2 Tablespoons olive oil and toss well.

Season the steak generously with Salt and pepper and place 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet. Heat the oil and add steak and cook to well browned, approximately 5 minutes for medium rare. Let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice the steak.

Mix pasta with the tomato mixture and toss till coated. Place sliced steak on top of the salad.

  1. Steak could also be cooked on the grill. 

Serves 4
