Tulsa Man Hospitalized After Overnight Stabbing

Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital.

Tulsa County Deputies said a man was stabbed in the chest just after midnight on Tuesday.

Deputies said they are trying to pinpoint where this stabbing actually happened.

They believe it may have happened along a walking trail just East of 81st West Avenue.

Deputies said the victim was taken to the Sandy Park Apartments where he lives near South 65th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard. That's when someone called 911 and deputies arrived.

Police said the stabbing caused one of the victim's lungs to collapse, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

News On 6 was told deputies went to the hospital to try and get some more information from the victim about what happened and what led to the stabbing.

No arrests have been made at this time.
