Okmulgee Co. Man Pleads Guilty To Beating Man To Death With TV Set, Coat Rack

A man from Okmulgee County pleaded guilty to beating a man to death with a television set and a coat rack.

Federal prosecutors said Neil Lewis was drinking with a group of guys at an apartment complex when he got aggressive. They said Lewis hit one of the men so hard that police were called.

After attending to the injured man, officers found Deslin Gourge inside the apartment, badly beaten. Gourge later died.

They said Lewis later admitted to another inmate he was the one who killed Gourge.
