A group of Oklahoma cannabis advocates filed a petition that aims to put recreational marijuana on the ballot.
If voters approve state question 817, everyone 21 and older would be allowed to buy marijuana without a medical card.
The same group also filed a petition to replace the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority with a stand-alone agency.
Both petitions would have to get 178,000 signatures within 90 days to put up for a vote, unless there are successful legal challenges.
