Man Convicted, Sentenced For Beating His Mother With Hammer

A Green Country man has been convicted for severely beating his mother with a hammer.

This week, a judge found Andy Perez guilty of assault and battery, kidnapping and larceny. A judge sentenced Perez to 45 years total for those charges.

As reported in May, Tulsa police arrested Perez after he beat his mother with a hammer and refused to let her get medical treatment for three days.

Investigators say Perez also took his mother's car and tried to sell items inside on social media.
