First Frost Advisory Gives Green Country Taste Of Winter

The calendar says we’re in October, but we woke up to winter-like temperatures here in Green Country on Saturday.

The calendar says we’re in October, but we woke up to winter-like temperatures here in Green Country on Saturday.

A Frost Advisory was issued between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday, but sunshine throughout the day is expected to top us out in the mid-to-upper 60s with some areas reaching into the lower 70s.

The weather will be perfect for trick-or-treaters for Saturday or Sunday before a cold front is expected to approach the area early next week.
