Man Arrested By Tulsa Police After Being Accused Of Taking Mothers Car With Children Inside

Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of taking a mother's car with her four young daughters inside.

The woman said she left the girls in the vehicle for just a second while she ran into a pizza place to pick up a pizza when James Ladd took off in her car.

Police said Ladd hit a curb, walked a few feet away from the car and collapsed. The girls were not hurt.

Officers said he had a white crystal in in his pockets on the way to the hospital. They said Ladd punched and kicked a paramedic.

He was booked into jail for child endangerment and his second DUI in the past two months.
