Registered Independents Allowed To Vote In 2022, 2023 Democratic Primaries

Registered independents will again be able to vote in state Democratic parties.

The state election board says the Oklahoma Democratic Party says independents will be allowed to vote in party primaries in 2022 and 2023 like they have the past two years.

Parties must decide whether or not to open their primaries.

The Republican and Libertarian parties have until December 15 to decide whether they will do the same.
