Warmth Returns, But Chances For Rain Expected This Week

Saturday’s bout with a cold afternoon was brief. The warmer high temperatures are back to start the week.

Much of Green Country can expect to experience high temperatures in the mid-50s while some could creep into the lower 60s for Sunday. Strong winds from the south also increase the fire danger risk.

Rainfall could sweep through the area towards the middle of the week. Early indications are that southeast Oklahoma could see between one to two inches of much-needed rain.
