Oklahoma Native Master Sgt. Earl Plumlee To Receive Medal Of Honor

President Biden on Thursday will give Oklahoma native Master Sgt. Earl Plumlee the Medal of Honor for his acts of heroism during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

President Biden on Thursday will give Oklahoma native Master Sgt. Earl Plumlee the Medal of Honor for his acts of heroism during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

Plumlee started his career in the Oklahoma national guard in junior high school, before later joining the Marines, and then the Army Special Forces.

He was hurt trying to protect his teammates during an attack in Afghanistan in April 2013.

The ceremony will take place at 12:30 on Thursday.
