Union Public Schools Move To Distance Learning Amid Rise In COVID-19 Cases

Union Public Schools announced that Friday, January 7, will be a distance learning day due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. That school said in a release that they due to positive cases. they aren't fully staffed.

Union Public Schools announced that Friday, January 7, will be a distance learning day due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.

That school said in a release that they due to positive cases. they aren't fully staffed.

The school will evaluate whether or not the distance learning will continue into next week on Thursday.

Devices for students will be sent home and they are expected to follow the distance learning schedule provided.

Union said more updates will be provided HERE.

On Tuesday, Union told News On 6's Mallory Thomas that staff members are also out sick with COVID-19, since returning from winter break.
