The pandemic hasn't stopped a Collinsville business from thriving.
"There is so much talent out there and it is local, and people miss that when they go to the big box stores," said Carrie Beth Winfield with Farm Hippie.
Ash and Carrie Beth own Farm Hippie. This was their dream, to build a space created by the community, supported by the community.
"This is your friends and family. This is your neighbors; this is your family," said Carrie Beth.
Take your eyes off the worries of the world and into the creations of the community.
"It is local. It is local. There is no middleman. There is no delivery system that is impeding the stock," said Carrie Beth.
"We have such great snacks. Everything from peanut brittle to rum cakes," said Ash Winfield with Farm Hippie, "We have local ranchers that we work with. We have three different beef producers, a couple pork producers and we just added bison and lamb."
Farm Hippie is a year-round Farmer's Market in Collinsville. More than one hundred and forty local vendors sell their goods there.
"Olive oil, castor oil, shea butter; I swear by the shea butter. I feel like it makes the soap that much better for your skin," said Elizabeth Smith owner of Bigheart Soap, "I have been a vendor here at Farm Hippie for 1 year now and this has been the absolute best decision I have ever made for my business."
