Calling all outdoor lovers! The Tulsa Boat, Sport, and Travel Show is setting up shop at Expo Square. It’s one of the largest shows of its kind in the country.
Organizers say as a locally owned and family-operated business, this show is a Tulsa treasure. Executive Director Jennifer Maricle says the show fills 10 and a half acres. This is the 66th year and she says people travel from all over the country to be a part of it.
She says you can expect to see all different types of transportation from water to land.
2022 models of boats, RV's, motorcycles, and personal watercraft are on display.
Maricle says a classic boat club provides a blast from the past like wooden boats and canoes.
A team has been working all week long to build structures and put exhibits together.
She says it makes sense why this show has such a draw for Oklahomans.
“Our green scape and our waterways are fabulous. We have so much waterfront mileage that it's kind of a staggering number and we just love to be outside. I mean we're fun and we like our adventures and our family get togethers. And so RV, tailgating, you name it. Oklahomans are tight-knit, and we just like to spend time with our family and friends,” Maricle said.
The Tulsa Boat, Sport, and Travel Show are from Monday, Jan. 31 through Sunday, Feb. 6.
It's in the SageNet Center at Expo Square.
