The past few days proved there are some talented photographers in Oklahoma, capturing great pictures of animals in the snow.

While the Tulsa Zoo was closed for the winter storm, a photographer made sure we still got a peek at how some of the animals enjoyed their snow days. The animals included a red panda, a snow leopard and a bald eagle.

Wes Edens captured a cardinal couple resting on a branch as the snow fell.

In Jenks, Amanda Watson found another cardinal couple, seeking a snack in a cookie tin.

In a picture of another bird munching from the cookie tin, the camera even picked up a crumb on the bird’s beak.

Linda Cupps showed us the ducks at the Glenpool Community Center.

On land, Joey Johnson took us to Osage County where the resilience of the bison was on display.

Another stunning picture from Wes Edens captured every tiny detail of a single snowflake, reminding us of their unique beauty.

To all the folks behind the camera lens, thank you for sharing your talent with Green Country.
