Thanks to southerly winds, Tulsa is looking at a high temperature above freezing for the first time since Tuesday.
The temperatures, which could range from the upper 30s to low 40’s across Tulsa and Green Country, will help much of the snow that fell over the past few days.
The National Weather Service in Tulsa recorded 6.8 inches of snow in the city between Feb. 2-4, but some areas east of Tulsa saw more snowfall, according to News On 6 Meteorologist Megan Gold.
As the snow melts, Gold anticipates most secondary roads around Green Country will have slick spots while traveling. Some parts of Muskogee, Stigler and Eufaula still have some snow and ice on their roads.
