Changes are coming to Broken Arrow's Rooster Days this year. The changes include the way they are accepting money, the dates, and a new app.

Vivianna Haney can't wait until May 12th to bring her younger brothers.

“Whenever it came to fairs and stuff like that I would always have to ride the rides with my little sister and I can’t do heights. But I’m excited to take my little brothers on some of the age-appropriate rides," said Haney.

One of the changes you'll notice at the annual event is that Rooster Days is going cashless.

“The prevailing number of people were using cards already and it was becoming frustrating so we want to make this as seamless an experience as possible," said Scott Eudey. “So many people use debit cards and credit cards for their business."

A new app created specifically to find Roscoe the rooster is another change.

"Having the opportunity to maybe win a few prizes or spot Roscoe around town. That will just add to the excitement I think. We have the rooster egg that people hunt before the festival, now during the festival they’ll be able to hunt Roscoe," said Eudey.

Haney said she's excited to hunt for sweet fair foods with her younger brothers.

“I definitely want to get them a funnel cake. That’s for sure. Any kind of fair I was always excited for the funnel cakes," said Haney.
