Man In Custody After Rollover Crash Along I-44

OHP troopers say a man is in custody after crashing his car into a ditch along I-44.

Troopers say they were first called to the scene by a driver who witnessed the crash around 2 a.m. on Friday.

According to troopers, the man was traveling westbound along I-44, in a Dodge Challenger, when rolled his car into a ditch that dropped about 10 feet.

Tulsa firefighters were also called to help get the man out.

Troopers say the man was the only person inside of the car. He was checked out by first responders before being taken into custody by OHP.

No lanes of I-44 were impacted because of the crash.

It is currently unclear why the driver was arrested.
