Tulsa police were called to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian on Tuesday morning.

According to police, the crash happened near Edison at 41st and Florence around 8:30 a.m.

Police say an Edison student and their grandmother were walking to school when they were hit by a driver who had just dropped a student off at the school.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police have not yet identified the victims or the driver involved in the crash.

Editors Note: Police originally reported that the driver involved in the crash was pulling out of their driveway. Police have since clarified that the driver was not pulling out of a driveway, but instead driving along Florence after having dropped a student off at school.
