Tulsa School Board Member Announces Run For State Superintendent

A Tulsa School Board member is running for state superintendent.

Doctor Jerry Griffin is the fourth Republican to enter the race.

He joins Secretary of Education Ryan Walters, Shawnee Superintendent April Grace, and John Cox, who was the Democratic nominee in 2018.

Former Oklahoma Teacher of The Year Jena Nelson is the only Democrat to file in the race so far.

The primary is in June.
