Tulsa Police Officer Arrested, Accused Of Child Abuse By Muscogee Creek Nation

Muscogee Nation police arrested a Tulsa Police officer for child abuse on Tuesday.

Tulsa Police said Officer Micheal Bell was arrested Tuesday evening for an incident that happened while he was off-duty in Jenks.

Officers said they learned about the investigation shortly before the arrest.

They said Officer Bell is Native American, so the Muscogee Nation is investigating the case.

The police said Bell was placed on administrative leave prior to being arrested.

Bell was hired in September 2019.
