One person died Thursday morning in a crash in Noble County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Elias Corbett was heading westbound on OK-64 near Morrison when he departed the roadway for unknown reasons.

The car entered a horizontal slide and impacted a culvert before coming to rest in a ditch, according to OHP.

The 24-year-old victim was pinned for three to four hours and was extracted by the Pawnee Fire Department, OHP said.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene due to head trauma sustained in the collision, according to troopers.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
