Monkey Accidentally Calls 911 At California Wildlife Center

Deputies in California received a 911 call last week that quickly hung up. 

Deputies tried to call the number back but there wasn't an answer 

When first responders got to the scene they could not believe who was behind the phone call. 

A little monkey named Route accidentally called 911. 

Route picked up the phone in a golf cart that one of the wildlife center's staff used to get around the park. 

She started playing around on the phone and somehow dialed the number.

The sheriff’s office said this is a first, and Route got off with a warning.
