Woman In Custody After Early-Morning Stabbing Leaves Man Hospitalized

An investigation is underway after Tulsa police say an argument between a couple led to a stabbing that left one person hospitalized.

According to police, a fight between a man and a woman spilled into the street near East 11th Street and Memorial Drive and ended with the man being transported to the hospital with stab wounds.

Officers say they got a call about a domestic assault and battery around 1:30 a.m. on Monday morning.

Police say the man and woman are dating and got into a fight overnight, which led to the woman allegedly stabbing her boyfriend multiple times in the chest.

The victim is being treated at a Tulsa hospital and police say the injuries sustained are serious.

Officers took the woman into custody to be interviewed by detectives.
