Executive Sous Chef Alfredo Vargas joined News On 6 to show us a delicious shrimp dish.
INGREDIENTS
10 ea. Fresh U 10 Shrimp peal & divined
¼ Cup Chopped Cilantro
2oz of Jose Cuervo Tequila
1oz chopped Garlic
1/3 tsp White Pepper
½ Kosher Salt
2.5 oz Olive Oil
2oz Butter
METHOD
1: On a medium bowl wash and raised the shrimp well
2: Put the shrimp on the paper towel allowing it to dry all water off it (this will help for oil not to burn your hand when cooking it.
3: On a medium pan with medium heat add the olive oil and 1oz. butter
4: Add the shrimp one by one slowly to avoid splashing, and add chopped garlic
5: Cook shrimp for 10 to15 seconds on each side to avoid overcooking
6: Seasoning with salt and pepper and sated for other 10 seconds
7: Add your Jose Cuervo tequila carefully as will flame and cook the liquor down
8:Add the remains of your butter, and chopped cilantro, and as soon the butter melts turn it off and serve.
