Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System Holds Veterans Day Celebration

The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System will be celebrating Veterans Day a little early on Thursday. The celebration will take place at the VA Medical Center in Muskogee and at the Outpatient Clinic in Bixby.

Both locations will start the celebrations at 10 a.m., with staff and officials handing flags to veterans. There will then be a presentation of colors by the Muskogee JROTC and Bixby High School JROTC.

According to the Health Care System, these events are not open to the public due to high COVID-19 transmission in Tulsa and Muskogee counties.

Both events are scheduled to end at 11 a.m.
