Cyclist Hospitalized After Being Hit By Vehicle In Sand Springs

Emergency crews were called to the scene after a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in Sand Springs on Monday morning.

According to police, the cyclist ran a stop sign near West 6th Street and North Grant Avenue and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

Police say the cyclist was taken to the hospital to be treated for head injuries and a broken leg.

Currently, it is unclear if the driver was injured in the crash.
