Man Receives Life Sentence For Coweta Gas Station Armed Robbery, Shooting

A Wagoner County judge has sentenced a man to life in prison for a 2021 armed robbery.

Prosecutors say Ellic Hayden went into the Coweta Kum and Go that November and demanded money before shooting the clerk multiple times.

That victim ultimately survived.

Investigators say they were able to track Hayden down thanks to an anonymous tip and that Hayden bragged about it online.
