Two men wrongfully convicted of murder in 1994 are suing the City of Tulsa.

Malcolm Scott and De'Marchoe Carpenter were convicted of killing a woman in a drive-by shooting until a death row prisoner confessed to the murder before he was put to death.

The men are now asking the city for a finding of police misconduct from 1984 to1994 for their case. The judge agreed to give the men documents related to their case.

Carpenter and Scott served 21 years in prison before being released in 2016.
