Cherokee Nation Investing $6M Into Bridge Replacement, Road Repair Project In Vinita

The Cherokee Nation is investing $6 million into a bridge replacement and road repair project in Vinita.

The project includes work on the Will Rogers Turnpike Bridge, which crosses I-44 and County Road 4410.

The City of Vinita, Craig County and ODOT are also contributing to the project, which is set to cost about $9 million in total.

The tribe says it's about 60% complete.
