Firefighters Battle Grass Fires In Creek County

Several structures caught fire in the Silver City area Friday, Mannford Fire Chief Bob Evans said.

Homes were evacuated in the area of 401st & 61st, Evans said. That fire is in Freedom Hills’ district, but Evans said Mannford Fire Department was helping.

He asks everyone to stay aware and don’t do anything that might cause a spark.
