Three Tulsa drivers have a court date in their future after police say they were caught traveling more than 90 Mph on the Broken Arrow Expressway.
Police say the three were clocked at 91, 94 and 95 Mph in a 65 Mph zone on the highway. Because that is more than 25 Mph over the speed limit, it's considered aggravated speeding.
Police say one of the three told officers that his friend's cat had just died, and that is why he was speeding.
Police say while they're sorry for the cat's passing, it is not an excuse to drive that fast.
