An Oklahoma school board unanimously voted against creating the first publicly funded religious charter school in the United States.

Board members said there were several issues with the online Catholic school's application.

The school has 30 days to correct those issues, then the board can vote again.

The board also asked the school to provide proof that its plan doesn't violate the law.
