Rogers County Deputies arrested a man they said shot up an Owasso family’s home and car at least four times over the last three years.

Investigators said the suspect, Nicholas Presser, repeatedly terrorized this family and even after being arrested and convicted once for vandalizing and shooting their car, he didn’t stop.

The victim, Patrick Stuart, said his family has been living in fear. He said one time he was backing into his driveway with his wife, when Presser drove by and shot at them. Stuart said the bullet barely missed his wife.

Investigators said Presser is reckless and needs to be off the streets.

Stuart said surveillance video finally gave him answers about why he was repeatedly finding his windows shattered and bullet holes in his cars.

Video shows a man Stuart identified as Presser, breaking out Stuart's car window with a brick then firing four shots into his car.

Stuart lived in Tulsa when the vandalism and shooting started, but moved his family to Owasso, thinking it would be safer. The shootings and vandalism didn't stop.

"We finally captured who it was. It was Nick on the video,” said Stuart. "Everything kind of came together at that point. All the other acts that had happened all made sense. It didn't seem like random acts anymore. It seemed like I was being targeted."

Stuart is a local musician and met Presser years ago through mutual friends in the music community. Stuart said they never talked much, so he doesn't understand why he was targeted.

"It just never dawned on me that the interactions I've had with this guy would ever lead to something like that,” said Stuart. "It's very scary. My wife and my kids truly have an issue with it. When I informed my wife that he had been arrested, she broke down in tears. It is very heavy on her."

Rogers County investigators said Presser started shooting at Stuart’s Owasso home in 2020, then Presser was arrested in 2021 for breaking Stuart’s car window and shooting into the car. Presser was convicted and given a one year deferred sentence for that.

Stuart thought it was over, until last month when more shots were fired into their house. They even had to rearrange the furniture in their house to keep their kids safe during the night.

“This is his home. This is a place everyone expects to be able to go to and feel safe and escape society and the world. And here even at his home he's being victimized by someone who is targeting him,” said Sergeant Wes Jones with the Rogers County Sheriff's Office.

"This is a weird, unique case that needed to be solved. I'm very thankful for investigator Jones that stayed after this deal, in a case that I could see a lot of other agencies would have passed off and say, 'we just don't have enough information to work here,'” said Sheriff Scott Walton.

Investigators said they are now working with Tulsa Police to investigate the reports of the victim's cars being shot and vandalized there, before the victim moved to Owasso.
