Man Accused Of Harboring Runaway Child Arrested By Hominy Police

A man is in jail after Hominy Police say he was harboring a runaway child and assaulted an officer.

Police say they were looking for two runaway children when they found Nicholas Faulkner with one of them.

They say Faulkner tried to run off and an officer tackled him.

Police say Faulkner then kicked the officer several times before jumping in a lake, swimming across to a cabin and locking himself inside.

Officers got into the cabin and arrested Faulkner on several charges.

The two runaway kids are back in state custody.
