Firefighters Battle Overnight Fire At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Part of a Tulsa apartment complex is without power on Monday morning after a fire broke out on Sunday night.

Firefighters say a mother and son heard a pop at the Midtown Park Apartments near East 21st Street and Memorial Drive around 9 p.m. on Sunday night. After seeing flames shooting through the roof, they went door to door to get other residents out of the building.

Firefighters say the fire started in the attic and damaged four units.

Crews believe fire started because of an electrical issue.
