Oklahoma Bank Named To 2023 KBW Bank Honor Roll

An Oklahoma bank has been named among the winners of the KBW 2023 Bank Honor Roll.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., an investment banking firm, headquartered in New York City, has named BancFirst Corporation as one of 14 companies on the 2023 Bank Honor Roll.

According to a news release from KBW, the annual list recognizes banking institutions that have demonstrated a consistently strong track record of earnings growth over the last 10 years.

“Congratulations to this select group of banks and management teams for making the 2023 Honor Roll,” said KBW CEO Thomas B. Michaud. “Their consistency is impressive and it is notable how the market has rewarded their track record with better share performance and a higher share valuation.”

KBW says the 14 companies that were chosen this year represent only 4% of all banks screened. 17 banks were chosen for the award in 2022.

According to KBW, banks that made the honor roll demonstrated "consistent stock outperformance and have historically earned premium valuations."
