Man Arrested, Accused Of Copper Theft For 2nd Time

A man under DOC supervision for copper theft was arrested again, accused of stealing copper.

Brian Tash stole copper from utility lines as well as from H-VAC and plumbing systems in homes and construction sites, police said.

Officers shared photos of the copper tubing, ground wires, and metal loppers commonly used to cut copper tubing.

They said they found all of that in Tash's car, as well as a gun.

Tash is facing charges of possession of stolen copper, larceny of copper, and possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony.
