Mayor Bynum Looks To Add $42M To The Improve Our Tulsa Tax Renewal Package

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum says he wants to add $42 million to the 'Improve Our Tulsa' tax renewal package.

The addition would increase the proposal to $814 million.

Mayor Bynum says, following town hall meetings, he wants to add $16 million to consolidate the Tulsa Police and fire maintenance facilities in a new loaction.

Another $16 million would go toward road widening projects around the city.

$5 million would pay for a River Parks maintenance building and another $5 million would go toward the Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood area's master plan.

Tulsans will vote on the plan in August.
