Car Wash Fundraiser Planned For Okmulgee County Murder Victims' Families

People in Henryetta are coming together to help the families of the victims who were killed earlier this week.

There will be a car wash Saturday morning, May 6, at First Family Credit Union parking lot where people can donate to these families.

Tim Miller is the manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts and said he knows Brittany Brewer's dad from the store.

Her dad asked if Tim could offer up any supplies for the car wash so he stepped in and donated soap, car wax, and other items they may need.

Tim said this tragedy is heartbreaking for the entire community and he's happy to help in any way he can.

"All the kids around here, they are like our kids. Our kids go to school with them. It hits pretty hard when you have a family of your own and something devastating happens like this," he said.

The car wash will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the First Family Credit Union parking lot.
