Outside of Cedar Ridge, businesses miles away are expecting a boost from the LIV Tournament.

At Nouveau Chocolates in Broken Arrow, Sunday was busier than usual, and golf orders came early, according to co-owner Melvin Piper.

“We did 130 4-piece boxes for VIPS, the players, and caddies, and everything is hand made here, so everything takes some time, and it's a great thing to have, for sure,” Piper said.

The rush of fans will come later in the week.

"We're obviously not going to have the crowds we did for the PGA last year,” said Tulsa Regional Chamber CEO Mike Neal, “but it's going to be a nice uptick in hotel sales, restaurant sales, retail sales.”

Many nearby hotels are sold out. The DoubleTree Warren Place is Tulsa is the host hotel.

“I think it's a very good example of a regional event, a regional draw that's large enough and hopefully successful enough, to benefit us all," said Neal.
