Man Critically Injured In I-244 Crash

A 41-year-old man was critically injured when his truck crashed on I-244 Wednesday morning in Tulsa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it happened around 5:30 a.m. near Sheridan Road.

OHP says Waylon Day was driving a 2011 Dodge RAM 3500 when he left the road and hit a concrete barrier.

He was pinned for nearly 20 minutes before firefighters extricated him, OHP said.

Day was taken to a hospital in critical condition with multiple injuries.
