Tulsa Nonprofit Organization Celebrates 5 Years In New Building

"We went from 10,000 square feet to having 30,000 square feet, so it just allowed us to expand our programs and have more items in our Bargains Thrift Store," said Pat Banzhof, Assistance League Tulsa President.

The Assistance League of Tulsa is celebrating five years in their new building.

The nonprofit organization has a variety of programs to help the Tulsa community.

Some of the organizations include Operation School Bell to give Tulsa students clothes, and even a thrift store.

Organizers say the new space has been a game changer.

"We went from 10,000 square feet to having 30,000 square feet, so it just allowed us to expand our programs and have more items in our Bargains Thrift Store," said Pat Banzhof, Assistance League Tulsa President.

They say there are lots of ways to get involved, like donating items, volunteering and shopping in the thrift store.
