Tulsa Crime Stoppers To Announce New Project To Help Protect Catalytic Converters From Thieves

Tulsa Crime Stoppers will announce new details about a project to stop people from stealing catalytic converters on Wednesday morning.

At a news conference, Tulsa Crime Stoppers will announce that Jiffy Lube locations will now be helping protect catalytic converters from thieves.

The program is called "Etch to Protect," and Jiffy Lube locations will paint catalytic converts and etch vehicle identification numbers on them to help connect them to their respective vehicles.

Wednesday's news conference is set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
