Man Arrested After Police Allegedly Find Stolen Gun

Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of possessing a stolen gun.

According to police, officers were called to the Wood Creek Apartments near East Admiral Place and North Garnett Road on Wednesday afternoon to investigate a shooting call. Officers say they never found a victim, but during the investigation, they came in contact with 19-year-old Darmontre Peters.

Police say Peters had two warrants out and officers allegedly found a stolen semi-automatic pistol while searching him.

Peters was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail for concealing stolen property.
