Sneaker Shop In Historic Greenwood District Celebrates Legacy Of The 'Tulsa Fast Breakers'

The Tulsa Fast Breakers were a minor-league basketball team in Tulsa back in the 80s and 90s and now a local sneaker shop is commemorating the team with some new merchandise that is set to go on sale on Thursday. 

Silhouette Sneakers and Art in the Greenwood District is selling limited edition jerseys and shorts with the Fast Breakers logo.

The team won the CBA Championship back in 1989, which was their first year in the league.

Silhouette owner Venita Cooper is a huge sports fan, and after finding an original, signed jersey on eBay she wanted to do something special to honor the legacy of the team.

The jerseys will sell for $140 the shorts are $70. Those interested can also get a collection with both and a special bag for $250. T-shirts will also be available for $40.
