Tulsa Temporary Mulch Site Sees Long Lines At Opening

The temporary mulch site for the City of Tulsa at East Latimer Street and North 89th East Avenue opened at noon on Tuesday, with long lines of trucks waiting outside.

Many neighborhoods are still full of downed trees and branches, but now there is somewhere to put them.

The temporary mulch site for the City of Tulsa at East Latimer Street and North 89th East Avenue opened at noon on Tuesday, with long lines of trucks waiting outside.

TULSA METRO MULCH, DEBRIS DROP OFF SITES

  1. City of Tulsa mulch site: East Latimer and N. 89th East Ave. opens Tuesday at noon and remains open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Bring a photo ID and copy of recent utility bill.
  2. City of Owasso: recycling center near 5th and Cedar from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. this week. Owasso city crews will also pick up limbs at the curb, but you have to bundle up the branches first.
  3. City of Jenks: tree limbs can be taken to 905 West 101 Street, just south of Reasor's, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Saturday.
  4. City of Catoosa: soccer fields near the 'Rodger Berry Sports Complex' from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
