Tulsa Police Chief Warns Residents Of Storm Repair Scams

Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin is reminding people to be careful about who they decide to do business with as they make plans to repair storm damage.

"Be very wary of door to door salespeople who claim they can repair some piece of your property," said Chief Franklin.

Officers say anyone in need of repairs should do research to find reputable and licensed companies.

TPD suggests talking to friends, family and neighbors to find good service and warns Tulsans to never pay up front for repairs.
