FC Tulsa unveiled its new Indigenous Peoples' Kit on Tuesday. It's the teams third kit for the 2023 season.
The new variation was made by Native American designer Jessica Harjo, adding teal to the FC Tulsa color wheel and features a pattern of Scissortail birds, along with the FC Tulsa crest.
FC Tulsa says it's a way to intertwine Indigenous art, sport and community.
“Art is often overlooked or underestimated in the impact that it can bring to any project,” said Harjo. “In communities, art can be healing and it can also bring identity. These things are important, and I am happy to see that Tulsa is embracing art and community more and more, especially Indigenous art and design.”
The team will wear the new kit for the first time on July 12 when the club hosts Miami FC at ONEOK Field for Indigenous Peoples' Night.
The team store also has them for sale for anyone to buy HERE.
