Small Fire Prompts Evacuation From Tulsa Residential Building

Residents were evacuated from a residential building Friday morning after a fire near West 17th Street Southwest Boulevard.

Tulsa firefighters said they were called to the building at around 1:30 a.m., and said the department evacuated the fifth floor.

The Tulsa Fire Department said the smoke was likely caused by a burning light fixture.

No one was hurt, according to the Tulsa Fire Department.
