Oklahoma City Crash Causes I-235 Shutdown As Crews Clear Scene

A crash on Interstate 235 in Oklahoma City has caused part of the highway to be closed Friday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to OHP, the crash has caused the lanes leading from southbound I-235 leading to southbound Interstate 35 to close.

Troopers said a vehicle had stalled out on the road, and a second vehicle swerved to avoid it. The second vehicle was then struck by a semitruck.

Two people were taken to the hospital.

Traffic on I-40 has not been affected at this time.
